ARE YOU DOUBLE-MINDED?

Meditation on the Word is crucial for the believing Christian. What is it that you are filling your thoughts with? What are you filling your mind with during your worship or day-to-day? Are you filling your mind with your insecurities, your weakness, your lack, your worries, and your concerns? For some, the reason you cannot have victory, is that you’re so used to coming under the lies of the flesh. It has become a go-to habit that you are stuck in. It is like hitting a wall again and again. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. How has that been working for you? Going from church to church or conference to conference or from one session to another? How has that really been working for you? Has it been working for you to feel the highs of success in your spiritual walk and then back down to the lows of despair and feeling lost again? The Word of God is your Anchor. It is your Foundation. The Word of God is all that is needed. Some people are struggling and fighting great instability in their lives. Unstable in all your ways one moment and you are then praying and cannot receive because your mind is double-minded. Why? Because you love God on one hand of the spectrum but on the other, all you can think about and all you see is your weaknesses. The weaknesses, anxieties, worries, and concerns all in turn undermine your faith and contribute to this double-mindedness trap.
