HOW TO EXPERIENCE A MOVE OF GOD

Inconsistency is the enemy of the spiritual. In order to see a move of God in your life, you need to remain focused on what matters most, Jesus. This is a mindset that must be practiced daily in prayer, worship, and as you move through your everyday life. Consistency is born out of persistence and habit.


Most Christians make the mistake of thinking that they need to make radical changes in order to please God. In my experience, taking a slower but more consistent approach will nurture a stronger relationship with the Lord and help you avoid spiritual burnout.

The Bible emphasizes the importance of consistency in various aspects of life, particularly in matters of faith, character, and conduct. Here are some Bible verses that touch on the theme of consistency:

  1. James 1:8 (NIV): "Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do." This verse highlights the negative consequences of inconsistency in one's faith and decision-making.

  2. Hebrews 10:23 (NIV): "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." This verse encourages believers to maintain a steadfast and unwavering commitment to their faith.

  3. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV): "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." This verse encourages consistency in serving the Lord.

  4. Proverbs 4:25-27 (NIV): "Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil." These verses highlight the importance of staying on the right path and not wavering.
