The Deeper Well of Praise

There’s a call in Hebrews 13:12–15 that I can’t shake and maybe you can’t either.
Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates. Not in comfort. Not in safety. He chose the shameful, painful path to purify us, to make us holy.
It cost Him everything. And yet, that’s where He invites us. Verse 13 says, “Let us then go forth to Him outside the camp…”—to the place of suffering, rejection, and yes, glory.
There’s something sacred about meeting Jesus in the hard places. When life doesn’t feel safe. When praise feels like a sacrifice. He doesn’t ask us to go alone—He went first. He bore the shame. And now He gently says, “Come bear it with Me.”
But here’s the beautiful twist: it’s through Him, not through our own strength, that we offer up praise. What kind of praise? The kind offered through tears, through silence, through the midnight hours, it becomes a deeper well. A fresh anointing. A living sacrifice that glorifies His name.
So wherever you are today—whether in the camp or outside—know that you’re not alone. There’s glory in the place that feels dry. There’s oil in the crushing. And there is power when you choose to praise Him anyway.
Keep going. Keep praising. There’s more than you can see.
