Water, Wine, and the Living River Within

Let’s take a moment and think about the very first miracle Jesus performed: turning water into wine.

He used ceremonial clay jars—ordinary, familiar vessels—and transformed what was inside into something sweet, strong, and new. This was no accident. It was a prophetic sign of what Jesus came to do: turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, the natural into the supernatural. Water into wine.

Jesus is the Divine Overlap—the bridge between heaven and earth. He is Jacob’s Ladder, where heaven touches earth. He is the Rock that Jacob rested on. He is both priest and offering, Lion and Lamb, water and wine. And here’s the most incredible part: He offers Himself to us.

Ezekiel 47 speaks of a river that flows from the temple. And in John 7:37, Jesus cries out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. Out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” That river is the Holy Spirit—the endless, overflowing presence of God within us.

Friend, you don’t have a dry spirit. You don’t live in a spiritual drought. There are no more dry seasons when you live in communion with the Fountain of Life. Inside of you isn’t a drop... it’s rivers. And those rivers flow from Christ Himself.

So I want to challenge you today—shift your perspective. You’re not empty. You’re full. The Holy Spirit is not a trickle. He’s a flood.
